Practice Settings — Configuration Guide

The practice settings module lets you tailor the GateDent system to the specific needs of your practice. Every practice has different working hours, service lists, price schedules, and staff structures. The settings module lets you configure all of these parameters.

The working hours and appointment duration settings define your practice's daily workflow. You can set separate working hours for each day of the week, record a lunch break, and add public holidays. Appointment durations can be differentiated by treatment type — for example, a simple examination at 15 minutes and a complex treatment at 60 minutes.

The service and price list covers all the treatments your practice offers. For each service, you define a name, category, duration, and price. Prices can be updated at any time, and a change history is kept. You can also create package services to offer discounted prices.

In the user management section, you configure your staff's access to the system. A role is assigned to each user — admin, dentist, receptionist, accountant. Each role has different access permissions to ensure data security. GateDent's settings module lets you fully customize your practice.
