💰 Finance Management
The finance module allows you to manage all income and expense transactions, installment payment plans, overdue debts and patient-based financial history of your clinic.
📊 Statistics Cards
Sum of all income transactions in the selected date range.
Sum of all expense transactions in the selected date range.
Difference between income and expenses.
Total amount of unpaid installments.
Total amount of overdue unpaid installments.
Date Filter
You can filter statistics cards by date range: Today, This Week, This Month, Last 3 Months, All.
Transaction Types
📥 Income
Money coming into the clinic. For example: patient payment, insurance payment, installment payment.
📤 Expense
Money going out of the clinic. For example: rent, salary, utility costs.
Payment Methods
Cash
Card
Insurance
Transfer
Creating a New Transaction
- 1. Click the "New Transaction" button
- 2. Select the transaction type (Income / Expense)
- 3. When Income is selected, you can search and link a patient
- 4. Enter the amount (AZN)
- 5. Select a category or create a new one
- 6. Select the payment method (Cash, Card, Insurance, Transfer)
- 7. Add notes and click "Confirm"
📋 Installment Payment Plans
Patients can pay treatment costs in installments. Create installment plans and track them automatically each month.
Creating an Installment Plan
- 1. Go to the "Installment Plans" tab on the Finance page
- 2. Click the "New Installment Plan" button
- 3. Search and select a patient
- 4. Enter the total amount
- 5. Select the number of installments (2-24)
- 6. Set down payment (optional) and payment method
- 7. Select the start month (this month, next month, etc.)
- 8. Review the breakdown table and click "Create Plan"
Installment Payment
Each installment has a "Pay" button. Click it, select the payment method and confirm. The installment number is shown in the modal (e.g.: Installment 3/6).
Undo Payment
If a payment was made by mistake, use the "Undo" button next to paid installments to reverse the payment. The linked transaction will also be deleted.
Edit / Delete Plan
Each plan has edit (pencil) and delete (X) buttons in the header. When there are paid installments, only notes can be changed. Deleting a plan also deletes all linked transactions.
⚠️ Overdue Debts
Overdue installments are shown in a red warning panel. Patient name, overdue amount and number of overdue days are displayed.
👤 Patient-Based Finance
View each patient's individual financial summary through the "Finance" tab in the patient card: treatment cost, paid amount, remaining balance, active installment plan and payment history.
💡 Tips
Take a down payment when creating installment plans to reduce risk. Regularly check overdue debts. Link each transaction to a patient for complete financial history.
